Man Accused Of Following Ex To Work With Gun Arrested Again
Plus, other recent Romeoville arrests.

Jamie N. Grindstaff, 33, of the 300 block of Fairfax, was arrested by Bolingbrook police May 8 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and seat belt violation.

Juan Carlos Hipolito-Martinez, 23, of the 400 block of Salem Square, Bolingbrook, was arrested May 10 by Romeoville police on a charge of obstruction of justice/destroying evidence.

Michael H. Bernacki, 30, of the 100 block of Christine Way, Bolingbrook, was arrested May 13 by Romeoville police on a charge of theft.

Brandon Buckley, 33, of the 500 block of Concord Avenue, was arrested May 13 on a charge of domestic battery.

Brett L. Toovey, 22, of the 11000 block of Homan Avenue, Marrionette Park, was arrested May 6 on a charge of felony retail theft.

Luis M. Ugalde, 27, of the 200 block of Hayes Avenue, was arrested May 17 by Bolingbrook police on charges of violating his bail bond and violating an order of protection. His new bond was set at $100,000 and he remained in the Will County jail as of May 18, according to jail records. Ugalde was arrested in March after police said the Romeoville man followed his former girlfriend to her job in Bolingbrook, pushed her and threatened her with a gun. He was also arrested in December 2017 on a charge of violating an order of protection.
