In Loving Memory of Kenneth "Ken" Dee Polcyn

Kenneth "Ken" Dee Polcyn, age 64 of Wilmington, Illinois, passed from this life, Sunday, June 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, loyalty, and friendship. To know Ken, was to know someone who would always answer the phone, lend a helping hand, make you laugh, and remind you that no matter what life brought, "It's all good. Above all else, Ken was a devoted father and proud grandfather. His greatest joy in life was his two sons, Austin (Kelsey) Polcyn and Brennan (Cadence Niccum) Polcyn. He often said, "One thing I did right was my boys," and he meant every word. Watching them grow into the men they are today was his greatest accomplishment. His three granddaughters, Blakely, Baylor, and Bryleigh Polcyn, absolutely adored their Grandpa, and he treasured every smile, hug, and moment they shared. They were the light of his life.

Ken is survived by his loving mother, Joan Polcyn, whose unwavering love was one of the greatest blessings of his life. The bond they shared was extraordinary—a lifetime filled with laughter, nightly phone calls to make sure he arrived home safely, and countless moments spent sharing desserts, stories, and smiles. Their time together was marked by simple traditions that became cherished memories, a testament to a mother's enduring love and a son's deep appreciation. He is also survived by his sisters, Deb (Jim) Bolen, Tammy (Scott) White, and Tina (Bill) Avery along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless lifelong friends.
