Romeoville Author Wins Bronze In Readers' Favorite Awards

Deliberto's book won the bronze medal in the children-fable category.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Romeoville children's book author Megan Deliberto has been recognized by the Readers' Favorite International Book Award contest, according to a news release.

Deliberto's first book, "No Place for a Lizard" was recognized in the annual contest, which featured thousands of contestants from over a dozen countries. Readers' Favorite is one of the largest book review and award contest sites on the Internet, according to a release.

The contest is broken down into 140+ genres, and each genre is judged separately. The organization receives submissions from independent authors, small publishers, and publishing giants such as Random House, HarperCollins and Simon & Schuster, with contestants that range from first-time, self-published authors to New York Times bestsellers, according to a release.
