Romeoville Cop To Appear On 'Garage Squad'

Tune in Wednesday night to an episode featuring Officer Chris Burne and his '75 Corvette.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — A Romeoville police officer will share his love for cars — specifically, his '75 — during an appearance on Velocity's "Garage Squad." The show will air at 8 p.m. (Central) Wednesday. The show "rescues weekend mechanics who perhaps lack the time, resources or simple know-how to get their 'project' autos road-worthy again."

Production on the show is based in the Midwest, and it's not the first time the crew has filmed in the area. Last August, "Garage Squad" paid tribute to late Plainfield veteran Cpl. Brandon Meyers by completing restoration on his prized 1968 Chevelle.

If you miss Wednesday's broadcast, full episodes of "Garage Squad" are available on the show's website. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
