Schaumburg Boomers Team Up with Vitalant to Host Community Blood Drive
Donate blood, score giveaways, and catch the Boomers in action—all in one unforgettable night!
The Schaumburg Boomers are stepping up to the plate in a big way—off the field. In partnership with Vitalant, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit blood providers, the Boomers are hosting a community blood drive at Wintrust Field on Friday, June 13, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.—just ahead of that evening’s matchup against the Mississippi Mud Monsters.
The event invites fans and local residents to become everyday heroes by donating blood and helping ensure a steady supply during the summer months, when donations typically decline due to travel and schedule changes.

Baseball has always been about bringing people together—and what better way to do that than by supporting blood donation? The blood drive will take place outside Wintrust Field in the Vitalant Bloodmobile, located at 1999 S. Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg.
