Addicted to Winning: Shorewood Rewind

This last week in Shorewood was so incredibly wonderful that it has left us here at the Shorewood Patch utterly exhausted.

So exhausted, in fact, that we hardly have the strength to get up and write anything about it. But that is exactly what we are going to do. After all, it's not how many times you get knocked down (or lie down on the couch for a nap), but how many times you get up that counts.

So let's get on up and roll it back for one more look at what went down in town this week with the Shorewood Rewind:

Getting Guinness

Were you wondering where you can get the best pint of Guinness in Shorewood on St. Patrick's Day? Well, you shouldn't be, because we already  you. Way back on Monday. Really, we did. Go check.

State of affairs

Mayor Rick Chapman shared the State of the Village with a rapt crowd at Shorewood Village Hall. Chapman's wife bought him a new tie for the occasion. It was red.

Happy Mother's Day

Once again, Wednesday was very maternal at Patches across the country.

Shorewood Shangri-La

The Shorewood Patch showed off some desirable for sale in Shorewood. And if you're not cool enough to get into one of these places, you could always try Channahon or Minooka.

Forget it Jake, it's Shorewoodtown

The Shorewood cops revealed that they a week pulling over lots of cars and even arrested a guy for allegedly trying to steal a spare tire.
