The Joliet Central French and Spanish National Honor Societies first combined induction ceremony was held on March 21, 2019

The Joliet Central French and Spanish National Honor Societies first combined induction ceremony was held on March 21, 2019.

The purpose of the National French Honor Society is to foster and encourage the study of French language and culture while recognizing outstanding scholarship. The Spanish National Honor Society focuses on Spanish language academic excellence and promotes the study of Hispanic languages and cultures.

Students inducted into the National French Honor Society include Monica Alvarado, Jessica Ayivor, Grace Balcazar, Erika Bakalar, Jacquelyn Behning, Kora Bernhard, Seneca Carter, Yocelin Chavez, Kania Ferrell, Stephany Hernandez, Ashley Huerta, Irene Jurado, Marina Martinez, Alejandra Medina, Abigail Portillo, Andy Reyes, Arman Smith, Janeth Tena, Ke’Andre Wiley, and Emilio Zarate.
