The Timbers Keeps the St. Pat's Party Pumping

The day after St. Patrick's Day, The Timbers of Shorewood is putting on a rollicking Irish music performance.

Kathleen and Paddy Gilhooly will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday at , 1100 N. River Road, .

Kathleen sings and Paddy is the resident comedian and drummer. They present a show with laughter, dancing and sing-a-long songs to such tunes as Harrigan, Heart of my Heart, Peggy O’Neil, When Irish Eyes Are Smiling, Too-Ra-Loo-Ra and many others.

The duo performs traditional Irish dancing with Irish key-button accordion, ceili drumming and Bodhran (Irish drum), and wooden spoons.

The Timbers of Shorewood is a rental retirement community. The Timbers provides independent and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay — a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
