Wanted Joliet Man Snoozing in Car Got Caught With Pills and Vodka: Cops
The wanted Joliet man had hydrocodone, a third of a bottle of Barton's vodka and a warrant, police said.

A wanted Joliet man napping in a car parked on Jasper Street got caught with pills and vodka, police said.
Joseph Harold Simon, 44, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and was also taken in on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a traffic case.
A Jasper Street resident called the cops about 11 p.m. Monday and told them she thought a car parked near West Park Avenue appeared suspicious, police said.

Officers found Simon inside the car and noticed he had a bottle of Barton’s vodka and some hydrocodone pills, police said. The bottle was reportedly about two-thirds empty.
Simon was taken to the Will County jail. His bond was set at $45,000.
