New, unwrapped toys, books, and games for children age 1-17 will be accepted at several collection sites throughout Skokie including Village Inn, Print Express, First Bank and Trust, Skokie Ace Hardware, and the Skokie Public Library. For more specific information on convenient drop off locations in Skokie visit http://SkokieCaucusParty.com/toydrive. “It’s always important to help those in need. This is an opportunity for our community to pull together to help make the holidays special for many disadvantaged children in our own neighborhoods.” said Sean Arden, Skokie Caucus Party, and committee chairman.

The Niles Township Pantry feeds those in our community who have limited resources to feed their families. The Pantry serves about 3,500 people every month, and more than 5,500 people during the holiday season. Because children are the most impacted by poverty, this toy drive compliments the Niles Township Pantry’s mission and will bring holiday spirit to less fortunate children in our community.
