SKOKIE, IL — The following information comes from the Skokie Police Department as a record of those recently arrested and of incidents reported to the police. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Readers are reminded that everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless their guilt is established beyond a reasonable doubt, and criminal charges represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
INCIDENTS
BURGLARY
Someone broke into a storage unit in the 7400 block of McCormick Boulevard and stole multiple items between May 1 and Dec. 17.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
Between 3:45 p.m. on Dec. 18 and 4:24 p.m. on Dec. 20, a known person brandished an apparent gun behind a person's back. No arrests were made.
RUSE BURGLARY
A resident in the 8100 block of Harding Avenue reported an incident of residential burglary and deceptive practices after an unidentified person had acted as an IT support person from Apple to gain access to their home.

HOME BURGLARY
A resident in the 8400 block of Central Park Avenue reported that someone got into their home through an unlocked window between 3 and 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 23, stealing cash and jewelry from inside.
ROAD RAGE
An unidentified man threatened a motorist with a metal bar following a road rage incident around 11:39 p.m. on Dec. 24 in the 7400 block of Niles Center Road. No charges were filed.
BATTERY/CRIMINAL DAMAGE
Police were called to the McDonald's, 5360 W. Touhy Ave., shortly after midnight on Dec. 25 for a report that an intoxicated customer showed up and caused a disturbance, causing property damage and battering another patron.
WEAPONS CHARGE
A incident of unlawful use of a weapons was reported shortly before 9:45 p.m. on Dec. 26 at the Tilted Kilt, 7070 Carpenter Road.
TRESPASSING
A trespasser was found asleep in an unlocked hotel room around 8:20 a.m. on Dec. 28 at the Holiday Inn, 5300 W. Touhy Ave.

ARRESTS
Alicia M. Adame, 27, of the 4000 block of Cleveland Street, Skokie, was arrested shortly after 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 18 at her home and charged with domestic battery.
Silvia Valentin, 45, of the 5000 block of North Harding Avenue, Chicago, was arrested shortly after 3 a.m. on Dec. 18 in the 7600 block of Lowell Avenue and charged with aggravated DUI.
Darneshia L. Jefferson, 30, of the 3700 block of South Indiana Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 1:38 p.m. on Dec. 18 and charged with retail theft at the Ulta Beauty, 9635 Skokie Blvd.
Holly G. Butler, 27, of the 900 block of North Massasoit Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 4:45 p.m. on Dec. 18 at the Skokie Walmart and charged with retail theft, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment. She also had active arrest warrants connected to charges of escape, possession of a controlled substance and retail theft.
Nikita I. Sieker, 32, of the 3800 block of West Montrose Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 6:53 p.m. on Dec. 18 and charged with retail theft at the Old Orchard Macy's.
Sandra A. Malone, 49, of the 5300 block of North Bell Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 6:45 p.m. on Dec. 18 and charged with retail theft at the Skokie Walmart, 3626 W. Touhy Ave.
Mohammad Shokri, 67, of the 1300 block of West Thorndale Avenue, Chicago, was arrested shortly after 11 a.m. on Dec. 19 and charged with retail theft at the Skokie Walmart, 3626 W. Touhy Ave.
Trina M. Pagan, 39, of the 7600 block of North Ashland Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 4:38 p.m. on Dec. 19 and charged with retail theft at the Skokie Walmart, 3626 W. Touhy Ave.
Tyrone M. Jackson, 39, of the 13100 block of South Ellis Avenue, Chicago, was arrested at 5:45 p.m. on Dec. 19 at the Orland Park Police Department on a warrant for retail theft from Skokie.
Talisha Baines, 25, of the 2400 block of South Central Avenue, Cicero, was arrested shortly after 6 p.m. on Dec. 19 and charged with retail theft at the Skokie Walmart, 3626 W. Touhy Ave.
Corkey Johnson, 45, of the 6100 block of North Francisco Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 1:50 p.m. on Dec. 20 at his home and charged with a violation of motor vehicle anti-theft laws.
[Redacted], 18, of the 4900 block of Crain Street, Skokie, was arrested around 3 p.m. on Dec. 20 and charged with theft from the Macy's store at the Old Orchard Shopping Center, where she worked, after reportedly buying a winter coat and claiming a return refund without physically returning the coat.
Lashon Howard, 24, of the 1800 block of Hartrey Avenue, Evanston, was arrested shortly after 4:15 p.m. on Dec. 20 and charged with retail theft at the Skokie Walmart, 3626 W. Touhy Ave.
Rong Wang, 45, of the 500 block of 5th Street, Wilmette, was arrested around 7:20 p.m. on Dec. 20 and charged with retail theft at the Old Orchard Shopping Center after hiding items from different departments of the Macy's store, putting them in separate bags and walking out.
Sargon D. Namrod, 25, of the 3800 block of Dobson Street, Skokie, was arrested around 10:45 p.m. on Dec. 20 in the 5100 block of Dempster Street and charged with DUI – alcohol following a traffic stop around 6 p.m. that day.
Israel Zalazar, 32, of the 3000 block of North Narragansett Avenue, Chicago, was arrested shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 21 and charged with battery in connection with an incident around 3:15 p.m. in the 7500 block of Linder Avenue.
Sage A. Estrada, 21, of the 400 block of West 38th Street, Chicago, was arrested around 5 a.m. on Dec. 21 and charged with retail theft after reportedly stealing numerous items from the Skokie Walmart at 3626 W. Touhy Ave.
Laura L. Lopez, 50, of the 8600 block of North Central Park Avenue, Skokie, was arrested around 1:45 a.m. on Dec. 22 at her home and charged with disorderly conduct in connection with an incident the previous evening.
Giorgi Gogoladze, 30, of the first block of Old Oak Drive, Buffalo Grove, was arrested around 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 23 at the Old Orchard Shopping Center and charged with retail theft from the Macy's.
Kyra O. Norman, 18, of the 6700 block of North Greenview Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 23 at the Old Orchard Shopping Center and charged with retail theft from the Macy's.
William H. Penn, 34, of the 2000 block of South Indiana Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 12:45 a.m. on Dec. 24 in the 7200 block of North Cicero Avenue and charged with DUI – alcohol.
Adeyanju L. Bello, 46, of the 6100 block of North Talman Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 1 p.m. on Dec. 26 at the Old Orchard Shopping Center and charged with retail theft from the Macy's.
Rashad B. Thompson, 23, of the 10000 block of Holly Lane, Des Plaines, was arrested around 7:15 p.m. on Dec. 26 and charged with retail theft at the Skokie Walmart, 3626 W. Touhy Ave.
Sabrina L. Bell, 62, of the 6800 block of South Paxton Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 7:45 p.m. on Dec. 27 at the Old Orchard Shopping Center Macy's and charged with retail theft.
Jack J. Shi, 32, of the 1600 block of South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 10:50 p.m. on Dec. 27 at the Skokie Police Department and charged with predatory sexual assault of a child. No further information was immediately available from police. He was ordered held at Cook County Jail in lieu of a $100,000 cash portion of his bond ahead of his next court appearance Jan. 29.

Michael J. Quaid, 28, of the 1800 block of Newton Avenue, Park Ridge, was arrested around 10 a.m. on Dec. 28 at the Skokie Courthouse and charged with possession of drug equipment.
Kalea F. Blanke, 28, of the 2200 block of West Rosemont Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 11 a.m. on Dec. 28 at the Skokie Courthouse and charged with possession of someone else's credit card or ID and felony theft.
Timothy L. Horton, 49, of the 15700 block of Willard Avenue, Harvey, was arrested around 2 p.m. on Dec. 28 and charged with retail theft from the Marshalls, 9445 Skokie Blvd.
Carolyn C. Delacruz, 40, of the 7200 block of North Keystone Avenue, Lincolnwood, was arrested around 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 29 and charged with criminal trespassing at the Market Place on Oakton, 4817 Oakton Street.
Veronica S. Love, 30, of the 9300 block of Kolmar Avenue, Skokie, was arrested around 10:15 a.m. on Dec. 29 in the 4800 block of Greenleaf Street and charged with DUI – alcohol, fleeing or attempting to elude police and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Monica C. Ashford, 51, of the 3100 block of West 60th Street, Chicago, was arrested around 6:11 p.m. on Dec. 29 and charged with retail theft at the Target, 4955 Dempster Street.
Kiara D. Glover, 19, of the 8000 block of South Paxton Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 6:21 p.m. on Dec. 29 at the Old Orchard Macy's and charged with retail theft.
Raidalee Mahmud-Santiago, 29, of the 1400 block of West Elmdale Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 2 a.m. on Dec. 30 in the 2900 block of West Howard Street and charged with obstructing identification and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
McSawa S. Sadah, 21, of the 10000 block of North Frontage Road, Skokie, was arrested around 7:15 a.m. on Dec. 30 in the 4900 block of Old Orchard Road and charged with DUI – alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 or greater.
Carolina Sperekas, 56, of the 4700 block of Davis Street, Skokie, was arrested around 2 p.m. on Dec. 30 in the 8500 block of Keeler Avenue and charged with possession of methamphetamine and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
