Private Sexual Images Spread Without Consent: Skokie Crime Report

SKOKIE, IL — The following information comes from the Skokie Police Department as a record of those recently arrested. Readers are reminded an arrest is not an indication of guilt and criminal charges represent merely accusations that are often dropped or reduced.
INCIDENTS
BURGLARY
Someone broke into a business in the 3400 block of Dempster Street around 1 a.m. on Jan. 11.

PICKPOCKETING/IDENTITY THEFT
Someone stole a wallet from a purse at Old Orchard Center between noon and 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 11. Multiple purchases were later made on the card.
STOLEN CAR FOUND
A car that was reported stolen from the 8100 block of Hamlin Avenue on Jan. 6 was recovered in the 8900 block of Kilpatrick Avenue on Jan. 12.

REVENGE PORN/TELEPHONE HARASSMENT
An incident of non-consensual distribution of private sexual images was reported shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 11 in the 4600 block of Church Street. According to police reports, a suspect sent text messages containing private sexual images and made harassing phone calls to someone known to them.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
Police responded to the Barnes and Noble at 5425 Touhy Ave. around 6 p.m. on Jan. 12 for a report that one patron had threatened another with a taser. According to police reports, a 61-year-old Skokie man who is a regular in the bookstore's cafe regularly tells jokes to patrons. An unidentified man appearing to be about 21 years of age took offense when the Skokie man told a joke to his girflfriend. He threatened to tase the man and showed him a black object that looked like a cellphone but made a suspicious sound. No charges were filed.
THEFT
A theft by deception was reported at First Bank and Trust in the 4000 block of Dempster Street between noon and 3:34 p.m. on Jan. 12.
ARRESTS
A 36-year-old Skokie man was arrested at 12:22 a.m. on Jan. 12 in the 8400 block of Skokie Boulevard and charged with driving without a driver's license.
A 22-year-old Skokie man was arrested at 1:10 a.m. on Jan. 12 in the 5100 block of Dempster Street and charged with driving without a driver's license.
Celso C. Manalo, 31, of the 6300 block of North Washtenaw Avenue, Chicago, was arrested shortly before 3 a.m. on Jan. 12 in the 3400 block of Church Street and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
Ebuka Solomon Nnabuike, 33, of the 6800 block of North Sheridan Road, was arrested at 1:45 p.m. on Jan. 12 at the Skokie Courthouse and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of someone else's credit, debit or ID card.
Amy L. Gold, 39, of the 1400 block of West Granville Avenue, Chicago, was arrested at 4:19 p.m. on Jan. 12 in the 7500 block of Kedzie Avenue and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, with a blood alcohol concentration above 0.08 and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. She was also cited for possession of less than 10 grams.
Aries G. Thompson, 18, of the 600 block of South Boulevard, Evanston, was arrested shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 12 at the Old Orchard Shopping Center and charged with shoplifting and theft in connection with a Jan. 9 theft at Macy's, where he worked.
A 22-year-old Skokie man was arrested at 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 12 in the 8600 block of McCormick Boulevard and charged with possession of under 30 grams of cannabis.
Erick F. Bell, 24, of the 2200 block of East 78th Street, Chicago, was arrested at 12:49 p.m. on Jan. 13 in the 7100 block of Laramie Avenue and charged with burglary from a motor vehicle and possession of burglary tools.
Montrel Joiner, 23, of the 1400 block of Atlas Street in Hammond, Indiana, was arrested in connection with the same incident as Bell. He was charged with burglary from a motor vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Andrea Antoinette Willis, 20, of the 700 block of Orlando Avenue, Normal, was arrested at 9:20 p.m. on Jan. 13 at the Skokie Police Department and charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
A 20-year-old Chicago man was arrested at 9:40 p.m. on Jan. 13 in the 4700 block of Golf Road and charged with driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and suspended registration.
A 30-year-old Lincolnwood man was arrested at 2:22 a.m. on Jan. 14 in the 3400 block of Dempster Street and charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Spiro J. Kondos, 48, of the 700 block of Sheridan Road, Wilmette, was arrested at 3:44 a.m. on Jan. 14 in the 9600 block of Lawler Avenue and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
Liliana Sanchez, 25, of the 3200 block of North Nagle Avenue, Chicago, was arrested at 6:23 a.m. on Jan. 14 in the 4000 block of Main Street and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration above 0.08.
A 76-year-old Chicago woman was arrested at 3:42 p.m. on Jan. 14 at Skokie Hospital and charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Paul Peter Bustos, 21, of the 2000 block of North Laramie Avenue, Chicago, was arrested at 5:46 p.m. on Jan. 13 in the 8200 block of Kilpatrick Avenue and charged with three counts of felony controlled substance and one count of possession of under 30 grams of cannabis.
Anthony Strachan, 19, of the 600 block of Brummel Street, Evanston was arrested at 6:50 p.m. on Jan. 14 in the 8600 block of Hamlin Avenue and charged with armed robbery in connection with an incident reported in the 8700 block of Avers Avenue at 2:39 p.m. that afternoon.

Latosha M. Kennedy, 41, of the 1400 block of Emerson Street, was arrested at 7:14 p.m. on Jan. 14 in the 5500 block of Keeney Street on an in-state warrant and for not having a driver's license.
A 29-year-old Hartford, Wisconsin woman was arrested at 11:45 p.m. on Jan. 14 in the 8000 block of Skokie Boulevard and charged with driving with a suspended license.
Moshe Zevvy Nudelman, 19, of the 8600 block of Hamlin Avenue, Skokie, was arrested shortly before 2 p.m. on Jan. 15 at the Skokie Police Department and charged with burglary.
A 21-year-old Lincolnwood man was arrested at 5:40 p.m. on Jan. 15 in the 8900 block of Gross Point Road and charged with possession of between 10 and 100 grams of cannabis.
A 61-year-old Chicago woman was arrested at 3:15 p.m. on Jan. 16 at the Skokie Police Department and charged with driving without a license.
