Project Hope House will host a special gathering on May 9 at 2 PM, honoring the meaning and message behind the REDress Project. A single red dress will be displayed as a quiet yet powerful symbol—inviting reflection, remembrance, and conversation.

Originally created by Jaime Black in 2010, the REDress Project brings attention to the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women. The empty red dress stands as a visual reminder of absence, loss, and the need for awareness around violence and injustice.

At Project Hope House, this moment is held with care—offering space for:

  • Reflection and remembrance
  • Conversations around grief, loss, and healing
  • Support for those impacted by trauma and mental health challenges

The color red symbolizes both life and loss—holding space for the complexity of human experience. In the context of Project Hope House, it also becomes a symbol of compassion, connection, and hope.

All are welcome to join us as we come together in awareness, support, and healing.

  • Saturday, May 9
  • 2:00 PM
