β’ Six men charged with promoting prostitution across 5 northern Illinois counties denied release pending trial (shawlocal.com) β Authorities say an alleged brothel operated out of an apartment on Ann Street in South Elgin as part of a wider prostitution case spanning five northern Illinois counties. Six men are being held in Kane County without release after a 15βmonth investigation, and South Elgin police joined multiple agencies in the coordinated operation that also connected victims with support services.
