WHAT:
Celebrate the food, music, traditions and culture of the five Nordic countries at the 46th Annual Scandinavian Day Festival, returning to Vasa Park in South Elgin on Sunday, September 13.

Each year, people from across Chicagoland come out to experience the traditions, flavors and festivities.
Guests can enjoy traditional Scandinavian foods including Swedish meatballs, fried herring, pølse, kringle and æbleskiver; traditional folk dancers and live entertainment; Scandinavian artisans and vendors; cultural organizations; and living history experiences—including the chance to meet and interact with Vikings.
