11-Year Old Shot To Death At West Pullman Home

CHICAGO, IL - An 11-year-old boy was found dead inside a home in the city's West Pullman neighborhood early Monday morning. The death of the boy is considered a homicide, according to police.

When police responded to the home in the 900 block of West 119th Street to a call of an unresponsive child at 12:56 a.m., they found the boy on the floor of the home with blunt trauma to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police later confirmed he was the victim of a single gunshot wound to the head.

Three people were questioned by police on the scene. No charges were immediately announced.

Police say detectives are investigating all possible motives, including ones that are domestic related.
