CHICAGO, IL - Several bricks fell from an apartment building in the city's Brainerd neighborhood Thursday morning as a resident was walking out the front door.

Another resident of the building located at 9230 S. Bishop Ave. around 9:30 a.m. said that the man who walked out at the same time the bricks fell was not injured, with a mountain of bricks that fell right in front of the front door still there at the time.

"He was very lucky," the resident said.
