Man Shot In Face In East Side
The victim left a trail of blood through the Far South Side neighborhood, according to a report.

CHICAGO, IL — A man was shot in the face and groin Monday morning in the East Side neighborhood on Chicago's Far South Side, according to police. Officers responded to reports of a person shot and found a 20-year-old man around 2:50 a.m. in the 10700 block of South Avenue O, police said.
The victim was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in serious condition, police said.
The man left drops of blood trailing from where he was shot to a home in the neighborhood, according to the Chicago Tribune. The victim knocked on the home's door, but by the time the resident opened it, the victim had left, the Tribune reported. A smear of blood was left on the door, according to the report.
