Robbers Restrain Woman, 74, In South Side Home Invasion: Police
Chicago Police Department officials say no one is in custody yet after a Thursday night home invasion.

SOUTH SIDE, IL — Chicago Police Department officials report detectives are investigating a home invasion after a 74-year-old woman was sitting inside an apartment in the 6700 block of South Prairie Thursday evening when three males entered her apartment. According to police, the victim was sitting in the living room at 6:30 p.m. when the offenders took out a knife and restrained her. Police reported the offenders took items from her apartment before driving away in a gray colored vehicle.
According to officers, the victim was able to get out of her apartment without injuries and call police.
Police say there are no offenders in custody.
