South Side Woman Wins $75K on Lottery Ticket
Lissette Martinez will go on a cruise after winning the top prize in a game of "Crossword."
CHICAGO, IL - A West Lawn woman won the top prize in a recent Illinois Lottery "Crossword" game, taking home $75,000 on a $5 ticket.
Lissete Martinez, who was born in Mexico and grew up in West Lawn, bought the ticket at the 7-Eleven at 4001 W. 59th St. She says she will now have the chance to live her dream and go on a cruise to the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Martinez, 37, was at work when her husband brought her a coffee and a "Crossword" ticket during her lunch break.
