Teen Abducted, Sexually Assaulted In Roseland Alley

Police say a man pulled a 16-year-old girl into his car near 109th and Michigan and drove several blocks before assaulting her in an alley.

CHICAGO - A 16-year-old girl who was walking in the city's Roseland neighborhood Monday afternoon was pulled into a car and taken several blocks away before she was sexually assaulted and robbed, Chicago police in the 22nd District said in issuing a community alert.

Police say the girl was near 109th and Michigan at 12:35 p.m. when a man drove up to her and engaged her in a conversation before pulling her into the car while displaying "a blunt instrument."

The alert says the man drove the girl to an alley near 113th and Morgan, which is several blocks west of the location where the girl was abducted, before sexually assaulting and robbing her.

A description of the man indicates he is black and in his late 30's with a slim build, black low cut hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. He was driving a white 4-door vehicle when abducting the girl, police said.
