White Sox Players Deliver Gifts to Kids at Lurie Children's Hospital

Manager Robin Ventura, third baseman Todd Frazier and pitcher Carlos Rodon made the day special for several young patients.

CHICAGO, IL - Two Chicago White Sox players joined Manager Robin Ventura at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago last week to brighten the day for dozens of patients.

Ventura, third baseman Todd Frazier and relief pitcher Carlos Rodon met with more than 30 patients and their families on Wednesday, signing baseball caps and delivering White Sox gifts at the hospital’s Family Life Center and White Sox play area of the Infusion Center.

“We are just putting some smiles on the kids’ faces, some of the kids are not doing so well,” said Frazier, who was spotted coloring and putting together legos and puzzles with the kids. “It’s good for their hearts and our hearts as well, an opportunity to help some kids out and give back to the community.”
