Woman, 20, Accidentally Shot Herself In Chest
A 20-year-old woman was in critical condition when paramedics took her to the U of C trauma center Sunday night.
CHICAGO, IL - A 20-year-old woman was in critical condition Sunday night when she was taken to the University of Chicago with what Chicago police have said is a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The woman shot herself in the chest while in the 7200 block of South Coles in the South Shore neighborhood around 7 p.m. The Sun-Times reports it was an accident.
Police say Area Central detectives are investigating the case.
