Kane DuPage Soil & Water Conservation District is looking for dedicated, passionate members of our District's diverse communities to run for our Board of Directors! Three seats are up for election in 2026.
KDSWCD is a state-mandated local unit of government that collaborates with the public, local/state/federal governments and nonprofit organizations to restore, conserve and steward our District's natural resources. We are guided by a Board of elected Directors to serve the conservation needs of our communities. From the farm fields of Western Kane County to the green infrastructure of DuPage, Board Supervisors help steer KDSWCD's important conservation work for the benefit of the District's people and natural landscape.
We encourage anyone who is committed to stewarding Kane or DuPage Counties' natural resources and to serving our neighbors across the District to file a petition to run for Director.
