Photo Scavenger Hunt at Primrose Farm
The St. Charles Park District's Primrose Farm is inviting all amateur and professional photographers to participate in a free photo scavenger hunt the month of July.

Who’s ready for an old-fashioned adventure? The St. Charles Park District’s Primrose Farm is inviting all amateur and professional photographers to participate in a free photo scavenger hunt the month of July. A list of 50 items is the goal and includes everything from the old milk house to a sheep to eggs being collected from the chicken coop. The more times you visit Primrose Farm, the more opportunities there are to take pictures!

Photographers may participate as an individual or as a group of two or more persons. Entry categories are youth (ages 17 and younger), adult (ages 18 and over) and group.
Submitting your photo is easy! Using Facebook, make a photo album labeled ‘Primrose Farm Scavenger Hunt’, upload all of your photos and share your album with Primrose Farm. Go to your Facebook photo albums, find the scavenger hunt photos and click on it. Once the album loads, copy the URL address at the top of the page and paste it into a message to Primrose Farm. Remember to include your name, email address and entry category selection. All photos are due by August 1.

Youth winners will receive a complimentary customized group lesson on some aspect of the farm such as hands-on milking for no more than 5 persons, a hay wagon ride and one dozen farm fresh eggs. Adult winners will receive a complimentary customized group lesson on some aspect of the farm such as hands-on milking for no more than 5 persons, a hay wagon ride and a box of fresh goodies from Sweet Home Organics. Group winners will receive a complimentary customized group lesson on some aspect of the farm such as hands-on milking for no more than 10 persons and a hay wagon ride.
