The City of St. Charles leaf collection program runs from Oct. 28 to Nov. 26 for residents who live within city limits. The leaf pick up program has been modified this year. It will run similarly to the brush pick up program, with the collection areas divided on the east and west sides of the river. The complete leaf collection schedule and program details can be found on the City’s website, www.stcharlesil.gov/services/leaf.

Leaves must be on the parkway by 6:30 a.m. on your area’s designated day of pick up, but it may take three to four days before the leaves are picked up in your specific area.

Please remember to rake leaves on the parkway, not into the street. Piling leaves in the street can clog storm drains, causing localized flooding, and make the roadway slippery for cars, bikes, and pedestrians.

As an alternative, residents may put leaves in yard waste bags, which will be collected by Advanced Disposal on normal collection days through Nov. 26. Please contact with questions.
