
GROUP SALES MANAGER
The Fox Valley Rep in St. Charles, Illinois seeks a Group Sales Manager for the 2014 season.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Sell and process group ticket reservations
- Sell and process dinner and lunch package reservations
- Research and Review new clients
- Work with the Marketing Manager to create a marketing plan for group sales tickets through email blasts, mailing, and promotions and community events
- Compile and issue various weekly/monthly sales reports
- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
- Act as a community representative for the theater
- Work with the Marketing Manager to sell season and show sponsorships and program advertising
- Maintain and cultivate both current and new season/show sponsors and Advertisers
MINIMUM CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of two year professional experience in group sales and/or related sales field
- Demonstrated experience developing sales leads and closing sales
- Demonstrated strength in verbal and written communication, time management, administrative ability, and customer service
- Excellent computer skills; highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
OTHER DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in sales for performing arts, tourism, hotel and/or special events industries
- Familiarity with Ticket Master and/or ticketing systems and database software
- Strong familiarity with the west-suburban market.

- The compensation for this position is competitive and commission-based, and corresponds directly to performance.
