Park District Cancels St. Charles Fourth Of July Celebration
The St. Charles Park District's annual Fourth of July celebration is the latest event to be called off due to the coronavirus pandemic.

ST. CHARLES, IL — The St. Charles Park District has scrapped next month’s Fourth of July festivities, with residents still unable to safely celebrate together due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Even if the state moves to Phase 4 of Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s Restore Illinois reopening plan — on June 26 at the earliest — gatherings would only be allowed to include up to 50 people, making the celebration impossible, according to officials.
