Police: Foul Play Unlikely in Disappearance of St. Charles Teen
Emily Czajkowski, 14, has been missing since last week, and investigators are following up on leads and tips from the public.
St. Charles police do not think foul play is involved in connection with the disappearance of a 14-year-old St. Charles girl who has been missing since July 22, according to a Daily Herald report.
Investigators are continuing to look into leads and tips they’ve received from the public concerning the whereabouts of Emily Czajkowski, the report stated.

Emily was last seen after she was dropped off for a dance class at Pottawatomie Community Center at about 6:35 p.m. on July 22. She never attended the class and was seen on video surveillance leaving the building while talking on her cell phone, according to police.
Emily was wearing brightly-colored shirt, brightly-colored shorts and blue, knee-high socks. She was carrying an oversized, furry snow-leopard-patterned bag.

The teen was seen walking west on West Main Street shortly after leaving the center. She then was seen between 7 and 8 p.m. in the area of West Main and South 14th streets.
Purple and yellow ribbons were tied to signs and street lamps in St. Charles, Geneva, Campton Hills and other spots in the Fox Valley by moms, dads and children as a show of support during their search for Emily.
