Teens Confess to Damaging Park District Building: Police
The teens are accused of causing extensive damage to park district buildings, a Campton Hills business and a local school.

The affidavit was obtained so police could get a search warrant for one of the teen's phones, according to the article.
Nicholas P. Zamecnik, 18, of 41W000 block of Forest Lane in Elburn; Kyle J. Wandle, 19, of 4N000 block E. Mary Drive in St. Charles; and Wiliam J. Donlevy, 18, of 4n000 block Chaffield Drive in St. Charles were all arrested in December after police said the vandalism spree was captured on video surveillance, Dave Kintz, Deputy Chief for St. Charles, said in a news release following the teens' arrest. Police were called to Otter Cove Water Park and the concession building at James O’ Breen Park on Sunday afternoon for reports of the burglaries. When they responded, they found extensive damage throughout the interior of the buildings, including broken doors and windows, according to the news release.
The teens are also accused of breaking computer monitors, printers, refrigerators in the concession area and destroyed the lighting detection system. They carved on the walls and a fire extinguisher was discharged, Kintz said.
Offices for the Campton United Soccer Club, Tri-City Soccer Association and Tri-City Football Association were also damaged. The criminal damage was recorded on video surveillance and police used this to identify the offenders.
Police also said in the affadavit that the teens confessed to their involvement in several other incidents over a six-week period in the Campton Hills area, according to the Daily Herald. The three teens and fourth defendant, Jacob Pincipato,18, of South Elgin, have been charged with vandalizing Wasco Nursery and Garden and Wasco Elementary School.
