“At Michael’s request, (the woman) sent a PlayStation 4 to” a man named Louis Ohemeng in Ghana, police said, and also wired ”$9,115.76 to Western Union and MoneyGram locations in Ghana and Germany.”
The woman explained she “sent the money since she said she loved Michael and also so she could share four million dollars in currency, eight gold bars, and two antique rings,” police said. “Michael told her the money she sent would be used to ‘clear customs’ and deliver the millions to her.”

The woman reportedly confided to police that “she realizes that her money is gone and that due to the foreign countries that the money was sent to, this department would not be actively investigating the incident. She said she just wanted a report on file.”
The police did note that a “Google search revealed that Louis Ohemeng’s name has been reported as a scammer to online detection sites.”
