In order to promote good dental health habits, Amazing Smiles Family Dental Care, 16906 S. Oak Park Ave. Tinley Park, is conducting its annual Halloween Candy Exchange.
Consumption of candy, soft drinks and other sugary snacks can cause cavities in teeth. In an effort to discourage sugary snacks, Amazing Smiles invites all local children to bring their Halloween sweets in exchange for other fun and exciting treats. Children will be able to trade their candy for a variety of gift certificates from stores such as Best Buy, Toys R Us, Target and Borders.
Grand prize gift baskets will be presented to the children who bring in the most candy (by weight). There will be three age groups awarded gift baskets: age 5 and under; 6 through 9; 10 and older.

The Halloween Candy Exchange will be held at Amazing Smiles Family Dental Care on Wednesday, Nov. 3, from 4-7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 6, from 8 a.m. through 1 p.m.
