Family Says Still No Word Of Missing 14-Year-Old Tinley Park Boy

"Imad, if you're reading this, please call home or go to a police station. We'll come get you," sister pleads.

TINLEY PARK, IL -- The family of a Tinley Park boy who hasn’t been seen since July 12 is hoping and praying for his safe return. Imad Alsarraj, 14, went to play basketball at a nearby park and never returned home. The boy’s sister said there has still been no word from her brother.

Imad’s family filed a report with Tinley Park police when the boy did not return home by his curfew. His sister, Larisa Mujkic, said the family doesn’t know if Imad ran away from home or he met up with someone. She described her brother as a sweet-natured teen and very social. Mujkic said her brother isn’t shy about asking people if they want to play basketball at Volunteer Park where he was headed to last Thursday.

“I talked to him about that and told him to be more careful,” she said.
