Man Hid Cameras In Female Friend's Tinley Park Bedrooms: Cops

The woman had known the Lemont man for years and had him over often. Police found 300 files and said he's seen on camera adjusting angles.

TINLEY PARK, IL — A Lemont man faces charges of burglary and unauthorized video recording after police said he planted cameras in the home of a Tinley Park woman over the summer, police said Thursday.

William Wigboldy, 61, of Lemont, was charged with residential burglary and unauthorized video recording/live video transmission after hiding two video cameras in bedrooms at his female friend's home during the summer, police said.

The woman, who knew Wigboldy previously, found the cameras, police said.

Police reviewed more than 300 mp4 files on the cameras and saw Wigboldy in many of the videos moving around and adjusting the camera angle.

Police arrested Wigboldy August 11 at his home.
