The incidents were reported Sunday, Feb. 15, Tinley Park police said.
TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park police are urging residents to be vigilant, after two reports of a man attempting to lure women into a truck less than an hour apart Sunday.
A female resident walking her dog at about 12:35 p.m. Feb. 15 in the area of Riverside Drive and Forestview Drive was approached by a black or dark-colored, two-door pickup truck displaying Texas license plates, police said. The man reportedly held up a piece of paper toward the woman, "gesturing or suggesting for her to get into the truck," police said. The woman took out her phone, at which point the driver immediately left the area.
The woman described the driver as a bald, Black male in his 50s wearing a white shirt.
