Legacy TIF at Panduit site collects $11.5 million in first 10 years (chicagotribune.com) — Tinley Park's Legacy TIF around the former Panduit site has pulled in $11.5 million over 10 years, funding major stormwater and infrastructure upgrades like Freedom Pond. With a $128 million private investment boom and new homes nearly finished, residents can track future plans at annual TIF review meetings at Village Hall.
   

2. Rob Zombie + Marilyn Manson Kick Off Summer Tour (loudwire.com) — Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson's Freaks on Parade tour is underway and will hit Tinley Park's Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre on Sept. 5. Fans can expect a career-spanning set from both artists, including Manson's new song "Front Toward Enemy," plus support from The Hu and Orgy on a 21-date run across the U.S. and Canada.
   

3. Amid rise in antisemitism, he's bridging gap between first responders, Jewish communities (dailyherald.com) — Law enforcement leaders from around the region recently gathered in Tinley Park for a major security and police conference where trainer Larry Glickman helped first responders better understand Jewish culture and safety needs. His work aims to strengthen relationships between police and Jewish communities amid rising antisemitic incidents, while a separate court ruling ordered a new trial for a DuPage County man.
   

4. Donna Vickroy: Tornadic winds demolish everything but the human spirit (chicagotribune.com) — Recent tornadoes that tore through Orland Park, Tinley Park, Mokena and neighboring towns left widespread damage but also sparked remarkable neighbor-to-neighbor support. From chainsaw crews and shared meals to church volunteers and outside municipal aid, communities rallied to clear debris, restore power, and begin rebuilding homes and tree canopies.
