One Tinley Park Hosts Oktoberfest Luncheon For Local Seniors
Giftcards were handed out, and food provided by Winston's Market.

TINLEY PARK, IL— Tinley Park Mayor Michael Glotz, Tinley Park Clerk Nancy O’Connor, and Tinley Park Trustee Bill Brady represented One Tinley Park to host an Oktoberfest luncheon for local seniors at St. Stephen Deacon and Martyr church in Tinley Park last month.
One Tinley Park was joined by Tinley Park Senior Center Administrator Roxane Tyssen, Senior Center Commission Chairman Bob Hayes, along with the support of all the Senior Commission members and countless volunteers to help put on this well attended event.

At the event, a total of $5,500 gift cards were handed out that One Tinley Park was
able to collect from local businesses.
- Gas N Wash provided 175, $20 gift cards along with free car washes totaling $1,750, and One Tinley Park matched that donation, another $1,750, for a total of $3,500 in gift cards.
- Gatto’s, Union Bar & Grill, North & Maple, and Pop’s Beef each donated 50, $10 giftcards, totaling $2,000, to seniors
While all the prizes were given out the attendees enjoyed Oktoberfest favorites catered by Winston's Market. One Tinley Park would like to thank all the sponsors for their help with the great giveaways, the venue for a space to have this event, and all the volunteers that helped ensure it went smoothly.
