Registration for the event quickly filled up and it's easy to see why!

“The Community Youth Soccer Day was created to engage with the community, create excitement for soccer, and develop leadership skills for the varsity team,” said Head Coach Pete Sansone.

Throughout the event, all groups participated in five soccer activities. Members of the varsity team instructed each group in areas of dribbling, passing, shooting, and defending through demonstrations of the activities, coaching, cheering, and encouraging each of their team participants.

At the end of the hour-long event, attendees gathered for a group photo in the middle of the field with a big cheer of "TITANS!"

“It was very exciting to see the huge response of youth signing up to participate," said Sansone. "The Tinley Park High School Soccer Program was eager to host a fun and memorable day of soccer!”
