Nonprofit Together We Cope Launches Back to School Campaign

It’s never too soon to make plans for a new school year, so Together We Cope is kicking off its annual Back to School campaign now.

The program that serves hundreds of area youngsters in need provides each with a new backpack filled with essential school supplies, plus some teacher requests for things like paper towels, hand sanitizer and antiseptic wipes.

Over the years this campaign has become self-supporting because of the generosity of donors in the 27 communities TWC serves. A donation of $50 sponsors one child in this program, while $100 benefits two children. Donations can be made with a credit card at www.togetherwecope.org by clicking the Donate Now button, or by check mailed to Together We Cope at 17010 So. Oak Park Avenue, Tinley Park IL 60477.

Monetary donations are especially appreciated this year as TWC doesn’t have the space to store donated backpacks or school supplies while its main office remains closed for fire renovations.
