Vandal Lets Cops Know What He Thinks About Them With Message On Tinley Park Sidewalk

The obscene message was apparently eradicated in short order.

An obscene message to the police set in the concrete of a Tinley Park sidewalk was discovered last week but was apparently removed within the next six days.

An officer was sent to the sidewalk in front of Luxury AutoMax on Oak Park Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

“Upon arrival I located ‘F--- the police’ that had been written in the sidewalk when it was installed,” the officer said, according to a police report.

“Tinley Park Department of Public Works has been notified,” the report said, and public works must have been quick to take action, as the inscription was nowhere to be found Tuesday morning. There was, however, a missing section of sidewalk.
