This course instructs the students in the theory and operation of the automatic external defibrillator (AED) device and adult, child, infant CPR and choking. This course is intended for those who respond to pre-hospital situations and must manage the patient until basic life support and/or the paramedics arrive. This course requires the successful completion of a skill evaluation. A course completion card is issued for this course with a re-certification period every two years.
Class meets at Libertyville High School on Wednesday, November 12 from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m.
Registration is required. Tuition: $39. A textbook fee of $12.50 is included in the tuition. The book will be provided by the instructor at class. No discounts or vouchers.
