A Journey of Discovery - Introduction to Genealogy
Begin the search for your roots in this one night class.
This overview class is packed with new concepts, techniques and ideas which will get you started on your way to discovering your family tree. This course is designed to provide the research tools for where to look, who to contact, and how to document findings of your roots. Prerequisite for this course: knowledge of the Internet (MS Word and PowerPoint preferred but not required). Recommended for amateur family historians who would like to sharpen their skills with new concepts, techniques and ideas in tracing their family tree. A $25 textbook fee is included in the tuition.
Class meets on Wednesday, November 12 at Vernon Hills High School from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m.
