Midwest Young Artists Orchestra and Stevenson HS Choirs Ignite the Season with Festive Holiday Concerts
Enjoy a special holiday concert at Stevenson High School!

(Lincolnshire, Ill) Students from the Stevenson High School choirs and the Midwest Young Artists (MYA) Symphony Orchestra are gearing up for a holiday concert extravaganza to take place on December 13th at Stevenson High School at 1:00 and 3:00 pm. The two show event will highlight a diverse range of holiday music, celebrating Christmas, Hannukah, and Kwanzaa, including a live performance of Let it Go from the animated film Frozen. Tickets are $20 per family, which should encourage music lovers to bring the whole crew to join in the fun.
The Midwest Young Artists Symphony Orchestra is comprised of the top students from area high schools that have completed a rigorous audition process. The ensemble has performed at Northwestern University’s Pick-Staiger Concert Hall, Ravinia Festival, and tackles professional level literature while rehearsing just once per week.
The concerts will feature world-class arrangements by MYA choral faculty member Gary Fry, who is the Emmy Award winning composer behind the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s annual Welcome Yule! Performances. The Stevenson Advanced Chorus and Patriot Singers will contribute their talents to make this concert the finest holiday experiences for your family and loved ones!
