Vernon Hills Home Is Uninhabitable After Thursday Fire
The blaze spread through the home and attic but all occupants were able to escape safely, fire officials said.
VERNON HILLS,IL — A home in Vernon Hills was left uninhabitable after a fire broke out Thursday afternoon, causing significant damage.
Firefighters arrived at about 3 p.m. to find flames at the rear of the house in the 100 block of Annapolis Drive, which had spread into the living area and attic, according to the Daily Herald. All occupants escaped safely, and one person was evaluated for smoke inhalation.
