Lewd Photos, Park Damage: Western Springs Cops

A resident reports that her son received inappropriate pictures, police said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs released its latest blotter Monday. Here is information from the reports:

  • A resident in the 4200 block of Garden Avenue told police Tuesday her son received lewd photos from an unknown number on his Apple Watch.
  • A vehicle caused damage to the grass at Ridgewood Park between April 8 and April 10 in the 500 block of Grand Avenue.
  • A resident in the 600 block of Courtland Circle told police Thursday that a traffic crash report and a fraudulent insurance claim were made using her son's personal information.
  • Yensy Ortiz-Rentas, 44, of Chicago, was cited about 10 a.m. April 7 at 47th Street and Commonwealth Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. He was released on bond.
