LTHS announces National Merit Finalists

All 10 senior National Merit Semifinalists have advanced and been named Finalists in the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Competition

LT is proud to announce that all 10 senior National Merit Semifinalists have advanced and been named Finalists in the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Competition. These students will continue to compete for some 7,500 National Merit scholarships that will be offered in the spring.

More than 1.5 million students nationwide entered the Merit Program as juniors by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. High scorers were designated as finalists by scoring in the top one-half of one percent among students taking the PSAT. In total, just over 15,000 academically talented seniors qualified nationwide.
