Search Expands for Missing Person Tyler Allen

Tyler Allen's parents believe he may have gone to Utah, Nevada, California, Seattle, Washington or Austin, Texas.

The parents of a missing 20-year-old Western Springs native have asked for help expanding search efforts throughout the country.

Berry and Sheryl Allen listed places where their son, Tyler Berry, may have gone, including Utah, Nevada, California, Seattle, Washington and Austin, Texas.

They said Tyler Allen, a sophomore at the University of Colorado, could be traveling on routes from Boulder to San Francisco or Los Angeles.

They’ve asked for help distributing a flyer, particularly around music venues, bus and train stations, youth hostels, Salvation Army posts, hospitals, mental care clinics and homeless shelters.

β€œThis would be a monumental task to micro-manage; therefore, we are hoping that through your efforts it spreads organically and it leads to finding Tyler,” the family wrote on the Find Tyler page on Facebook.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office has ruled out the possibility that a body reportedly found Saturday evening at Gross Reservoir is connected to Tyler Allen, according to The Denver Post. A sergeant said that incident is β€œvery strongly not related” to Tyler Allen, The Denver Post reported.
