The teen and another from La Grange Highlands were arrested in Naples, authorities said.
WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – A Western Springs teen has been sentenced in Naples, Florida, in connection with a March incident, according to court records.
On the night of March 17, Quinn Riordan, 19, of Western Springs, and Matthew Austin, 19, of La Grange Highlands, were at the end of the hurricane-destroyed Naples Pier, according to NBC 2 in Fort Myers, Florida. They were in a restricted area and apparently hurdled over a barricade.
Austin was arrested immediately, but Riordan tried to escape, the TV station reported. As an officer tackled him, Riordan fell onto the officer's arm, breaking it, according to NBC 2.
