6 spots left on Serve City Wheaton 12-and-under volleyball teams

Six openings are available on Serve City Volleyball's two 12-and-under girls club teams in Wheaton. The spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. To learn more details and to register online for one of the six coveted spots, visit www.servecityvolleyball.org/in...

Currently 14 fifth- and sixth-grade students in and around Wheaton have made commitment payments to secure spots on either Serve City's 12U national or regional team. This leaves three spots apiece open on each team.

To be eligible, players must turn 12 after August 31, 2019.

The Wheaton 12U national team practices on Tuesdays from 5-7 p.m. and Fridays from 5-7 p.m. at Vineyard Church, 1900 Manchester Rd. in Wheaton. The national team season runs from Nov. 27, 2018 to June 16, 2019 with breaks for Christmas, New Year's, spring break and national team break. The national team's season concludes at the Asics Jr. National Championships June 14-16 at Navy Pier in Chicago.

The Wheaton 12U regional practices on Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m. and Fridays from 5-7 p.m. at Vineyard Church. The regional team season runs from Nov. 27, 2018 until April 14, 2019 with breaks for Christmas, New Year's and spring break.

The national team coach is Miranda Schmitt. The regional team coach is Jeremy Bradley.
