Apartment Burglarized, Car Window Smashed, More: Wheaton Blotter
Jewelry was stolen from an apartment, a purse was stolen from a car and other crimes were reported on the most recent Wheaton blotter.
WHEATON, IL — An apartment was burglarized, a car window was smashed at Planet Fitness and other crimes were reported on the most recent Wheaton Police Department crime blotter. Other incidents included catalytic converter thefts and a stolen package.
Apartment Burglarized in 200 block of Wyndemere Circle
A resident told police someone stole cash, jewelry and medicine from their apartment. The incident took place sometime between 2 p.m. on Nov. 17 and 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 18.

Car Burglarized at Planet Fitness
Police say someone smashed the back driver's side window of a car to gain entry, and then stole a purse from the car's trunk. The burglary took place while the car was parked in the lot at Planet Fitness, 1780 S. Blanchard St., between 1:50 p.m. and 2:50 p.m. on Nov. 15.

Catalytic Converter Stolen on Sterling Circle
A catalytic converter was cut from a Honda CRV that was parked in a lot on Sterling Circle just before 3 a.m. on Nov. 15.
Catalytic Converter Stolen on Hawkins Circle
Police say a catalytic converter was stolen from a Honda CRV while it was parked in a driveway on Hawkins Circle. The theft took place sometime between 11 p.m. on Nov. 14 and 9 a.m. on Nov. 15.
Package Stolen in 900 block of Webster Avenue
A resident told police they never found a package that was shown to have been delivered to their home between Nov. 3 and Nov. 20.
Police are asking anyone with information to call the Wheaton Police Department at 630-260-2161.
